Central Disputed-Administrative Court No. 11 of Madrid, The appeal by the National Professional Football League was found inadmissible. against the Presidential decision. CSD about the contradiction between Professional Women’s Football League and the Royal Spanish Football Association on the organization and celebration of the Women’s First Division calendar.
It should be noted that in July 2022 There was a notable discrepancy between the Women’s League and the RFEF, To mediate with the CSD and remind the parties that coordinated action on the matter is required after postponing the draw that both parties have planned at their respective centers and in parallel.
Finally, CSD decided that, in accordance with regulations, the draw for the competition calendar should be arranged by the RFEF. As was done in Las Rozas on August 12, 2022, despite his refusal, now called Liga F, who realized that he was tasked with taking on that responsibility.
And in this scenario, LaLiga joins in appealing CSD’s decision although it is not directly related to the event, as it is the calendar of the highest category of women. In the said objection, it was argued that this was not the reason why LPFF was established as the organizer of the competition, but “the only organization capable of developing action on this issue”. “The LPFF cannot and cannot draw lots for matches in the competition calendar (…) independent of the RFEF (…).. there must ber coordinated action The decision of the highest body of Spanish sport emphasizes: “For the celebration of the draw, the conditions in question must be submitted to the RFEF, so that it fulfills the corresponding coordination function and continues the celebration of the draw”.
The employers’ association, chaired by Javier Tebas, expressed their disagreement with the concept of coordination put forward by the CSD in its decision, but the judge of the Central Disputed-Administrative Court No. 11 in Madrid considers that there is no active stance and declares the objection inadmissible and thereby confirms the RFEF’s authority to assume responsibility for such actions.
