The second match of the second round of the National Hockey League (NHL) play-offs between the Vegas Golden Knights and the Edmonton Oilers has come to an end. The match played at T-Mobile Arena ended with Edmonton’s 5:1 victory.
As part of Edmonton, German striker Leon Draisaitl (double), Canadian striker Connor McDavid (double) and Canadian Evan Bouchard scored. Russian forward Ivan Barbashev scored the only goal for Vegas.
The score in the series was even – 1:1. The next match will be played on the night of 9 May. The match will be played at Rogers Place Stadium in Edmonton.
The current Stanley Cup winners, Colorado Avalanche, had previously left the tournament in the 1/8 stage and lost 4:3 to Seattle Craken in the series. In last year’s final, Colorado hockey players defeated Tampa Bay Lightning.
