Seville’s Alamillo Park covers 120 hectares in the northern part of Isla de la Cartuja, a strip of land between the old and new channels of the Guadalquivir River that was reclaimed for the city on the occasion of Expo’ 92 celebrations. Simultaneously with the construction of the World Expo, the Junta de Andalucía launched a project to create a large urban park, which would imitate the natural landscape of the Mediterranean forest, but at the same time perfectly equipped to provide the comfort of its users.

The park was inaugurated and opened to the public on October 12, 1993. In this natural environment, we find facilities that allow us to enjoy even more contact with nature: kiosk and picnic areas, services, 4-wheel bike rental, sky train , small railway… next to a great human team permanently willing to take care of the Alamillo Park and of course all its users.
