The 33-year-old football player plans to leave the capital’s club at the end of his contract with Dynamo. The deal expires in the middle of next year.
In the 2022/23 season, Smolov made 21 appearances in the Russian Premier League (RPL) and scored eight goals.
Smolov returned to Dynamo in January 2022. During his career, he also played for Anji, Ural, Krasnodar and Lokomotiv in Russia. He also tried his hand at foreign championships: he went on loan to Dutch Feyenoord in 2010 and played on loan for Spanish Celta in 2020.
