General Manager of Zenit Medvedev spoke about Dziuba’s future at the club

Petersburg “Zenith” Alexander Medvedev spoke about the future in the team of striker Artem Dzyuba.

The 33-year-old striker re-signed with the blue-white-blues in 2020. The contract operates according to the 2+1 system and is automatically extended for one more season depending on certain conditions.

“There are several options for us and for him, so we communicate and discuss. The time is not far when everything will become clear. There is no doubt that Artem will play at a higher level for several more seasons.

Recall that on April 30, thanks to the victory over the capital’s Lokomotiv (3: 1) and the defeat of Moscow Dynamo from the Yekaterinburg Urals, the wards of Sergei Semak became the first champions of the Russian Premier League (RPL).

Dzyuba has played in 25 games this season, scoring 11 goals and providing 5 assists.
