The rating increase was made possible thanks to Sergei Pavlovich’s victory over the American Curtis Blades on April 23. The fight ended in the first round with the Russians knocking out the American fighter.

On December 4, Pavlovich won the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Fight Night (on ESPN 42). His opponent was Tai Tuivasa, representing Australia.

The fight, which should have lasted three rounds of five minutes each, ended in the first round. The fighters spent just 55 seconds in the octagon, after which the Russian fighter knocked his opponent down.

Pavlovich played 19 games in his career and won 18 of them.
