Athletic journalist Michael Russo thinksDallas coach Pete DeBour has found an antidote to Minnesota Wild Russian forward Kirill Kaprizov.
Coincidentally or not, Dallas coach Pete DeBour seems to have found the antidote for Kaprizov.
Kaprizov did not speak to the press after the fourth game, but Baldy spoke with the Blues just before the playoffs about how much of a lesson last year’s series should have given him, ”the journalist wrote.
The score is 2:2 in the National Hockey League’s (NHL) 1/8 series between Minnesota and Dallas. The teams will play their next match on April 26.
Kaprizov has been on the ice in all four games. The Russian striker recorded only one abandoned disc at his own expense.
In total, during the NHL regular season, the Russian forward played 67 games for Minnesota, scoring 40 goals and providing 35 assists. Ovechkin became the fifth most successful Russian after Malkin, Panarin and Kucherov.
Kaprizov missed about a month due to injury.
It was previously reported that Ivan Barbashev’s puck helped Vegas take the lead in the NHL playoff series with Winnipeg.
