English Premier League (EPL) club Tottenham Hotspur have sacked their acting manager Christian Stellini after a crushing loss to Newcastle United in the weekend’s Premier League game.

Losing 1-6 in the first 20 minutes of the match, the London team conceded 5 goals from their opponents.

“The result of the match against Newcastle on Sunday was unacceptable, it was painful to watch. Christian and his assistants will leave the coaching staff. We wish them success in the future,” says Tottenham chairman of the board official site club.

Ryan Mason will now take over as head coach.
