Russian forward “New York Rangers” Vladimir Tarasenko scores a goal against the New Jersey Devils in the second game of the National Hockey League (NHL) playoff series. The match ended with Rangers’ 5-1 victory.

This was Tarasenko’s 43rd goal in the NHL playoffs. Thus, the 31-year-old striker took a clean sixth place among the Russians, beating Pavel Datsyuk and Vyacheslav Kozlov in league playoff goals.

Alexander Ovechkin (72) leading the playoff goals. They are followed by Evgeni Malkin (67), Nikita Kucherov (53), Sergei Fedorov (52) and Alexei Kovalev (45).

Thanks to the win, New York Rangers increased their lead in the series by 2-0. The third match between the two teams will be played on April 23 and will start at 3:00 Moscow time.

In the first match, Rangers also won with a score of 5: 1, and Tarasenko threw an abandoned puck.
