Bayern plans to sell Sadio Mane in the summer as head coach Thomas Tuchel is not in their plans. Journalist Florian Plettenberg reported this on his social networks.
“Thomas Tuchel has no plans for Mane because the player doesn’t fit into his system. That’s my knowledge. Inside the club, Mane is very critical.
Mane’s transfer is seen as a mistake, especially considering his salary exceeding 20m euros per year.
“Due to his disappointing performance, there is a joke at the club that Bayern signed Mane’s twin brother and not from Liverpool,” he said.
Mane transferred from Liverpool to Bayern last summer. He played for the English team for six years. Mane has made 20 appearances in the Bundesliga this season and has scored six goals.
After the Champions League match against Manchester City on April 11, Mane punched teammate Leroy Zane in the face. He was removed from the main roster. New photos of a Bayern training session, in which Zane was seen with a noticeably swollen lip, have surfaced online.
Formerly Thomas Tuchel Mane, who shot his teammate, was told when will he return to Bayern.
