And precisely for this reason, he has decided to move to the magistrate Silvia Lopez Mejia their opposition, according to the newspaper ‘La Razón’. In the facts under investigation, the payment of 7.4 million euros, between 2001 and 2018, to the then Vice President of Arbitrators, J.Ose Maria Enriquez Negreira, bartomeu ensures that there is “not the slightest indication of harm” against the Madrid entity and that no one justifies their presence in the case as “harmed”.

The lawyer of Bartomeu, Jose Maria Fuster-Fabra, the subdistrict court requested the claim of the RealMadridwho on March 24 used its status as an “offended or hurt entity” to pursue the private prosecution, as the merengue team already announced through an official statement related to the case.

For Bartomeu, “the recognition without any justification of individual private allegations of each of the football teams would lead to a procedure of impossible investigation.” In that sense, the lawyer Fuster-Fabra states that “they might try to show up Real Club Deportivo Espanyol, Celta de Vigo, Elche Club de Fútbol, etc”, that is, other teams participating in LaLiga and also belonging to the RFEF. The lawyer emphasizes that both entities have already appeared in the case and that he would not understand that Real Madrid’s request was met for this reason.

Real Madrid’s statement was very clear. It read as follows: “Real Madrid expresses its deep concern about the seriousness of the facts and reiterates its full confidence in the action of the judiciary and has agreed that, in defense of its legitimate interests, it will appear in the proceedings as soon as the court so open to injured parties.”

Now former Barça president Josep María Bartomeu is asking that the whites not be part of the case, as he understands they are not a “duped club”.
