Like it’s a summer afternoon, more than that 50,000 viewers they brought out inflatable toys typical of a day at the beach. But what is this particular about? GOAL we tell you:
WHY DID THE FEYENOORD FANS RELEASE INFLATABLE TOYS?
In 2015, both institutions met in the same competition, but in the round of 32. In the first leg, the game would go 1-1, where Gervinho would be on the scoreboard with a controversial game where Feyenoord fans would complain that the Ivorian would mimic too many ‘swimming pools’. For the revenge in the Netherlands, the Dutch fans welcomed the African winger and threw him an inflatable banana, referring to the ‘swimming pools’ of the first match.
For this 2023, the fans remembered that curious situation by entering the stadium with thousands of inflatable toys to relive what happened 8 years ago.
