The Israeli city of Haifa will host two major continental sambo tournaments from April 19 to 23. Men and women, juniors and juniors, boys and girls, and cadets will compete for the title of Europe’s strongest SAMBO athletes. The European Championships will take place in eight weight categories for men (58 kg, 64 kg, 71 kg, 79 kg, 88 kg, 98 kg, +98 kg, absolute weight category +88 kg) and women (50 kg, 54 kg, 59). , 65 kg, 72 kg, 80 kg, +80 kg). Men and women will also compete in fighting sambo.
A key feature of this year’s European Championship will be a qualifying tournament for sambists to participate in the World Martial Arts Games, which will be held in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia) in October.
