Russian national team and Dynamo Moscow midfielder Arsen Zakharyan commented on possible transfer rumors to Turkish Galatasaray.
“The most ridiculous news was probably about Galatasaray. Everything was very shaken there: everything, everything, everything, the contract was already done. I even said “no” right there. I’m sitting, reading: I’m already in Galatasaray along the way. I thought maybe they’d decide on something without me. But actually they said there is an offer, I said no. That’s all,” says Zakharyan “Sports Express”.
In the winter, the information emerged that the Russians would move to Galatasaray. Then there were different versions about the failure of this transfer.
If you remember, it was reported that Chelsea offered £ 12.6 million for the 19-year-old midfielder last year. However, the transfer did not take place due to the restrictions imposed on Russian football last year.
It was also reported that Chelsea would not give up on Zakharyan, but contact between the clubs for player transfers was suspended in the fall.
Zakharyan has appeared in 19 games for Dynamo this season, scoring three goals and five assists.
Formerly Gennady Orlov He linked Zakharyan’s downfall with Jokanovic’s arrival at Dynamo.
