Valuable trainer of the USSR Tatyana Tarasova reacted to the decision of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs to ban entry to Russia from figure skaters, including Megan Duhamel and Tessa Virtu.

42 Canadian athletes, including figure skaters Duhamel and Virtu, were banned from entering Russia in response to Canadian sanctions due to the spread of Russian hostility.
Among those banned from entering Russia were hockey players Jaina Hefford and Hayley Wickenheiser, freestyle athletes Alexander Bilodeau and Jennifer Hale, and skiers Devon Kershaw.
A group of 42 former Canadian Olympians had previously called on their country’s National Olympic Committee (NOC) to abandon the idea of supporting Russian athletes to participate in the Paris 2024 Olympics.
Kamila Valieva, former Olympic champion in figure skating at the 2022 team event said about junk food addictions.
