Former Manchester United footballer Andrey Kanchelskis met with St. Petersburg in round 22 of the Russian Premier League (RPL).
As it will be remembered, the striker did not shake hands with Zenit head coach Sergei Semak after the match and announced that he did not see him.
“All the accusations of Dziuba for not shaking hands with Semak are stupid nonsense. Why does everyone choose it? He doesn’t owe anyone. The player has the right to be offended by everyone and go to the locker room. I did not want – I did not regret it. It is not included in the regulation. Artem is no one’s fault. I did everything right,” Kanchelskis quotes sports24.
The 34-year-old striker has made seven appearances in all competitions for the Railways this season, scoring six goals and one assist.
Zenit continues to lead the Russian Championship with 54 points. Lokomotiv is in 11th place with 25 points.
