CSKA Moscow goalkeeper Igor Akinfeev talked about what it feels like to be ranked among the best goalkeepers in modern history, according to the International Federation of Football History and Statistics (IFFHS).
“I read a lot of comments about it. And in general I don’t care, but on the other hand, it’s nice. And I have no other feelings. I wouldn’t be in this ranking – well, okay, ”explains Akinfeev official site CSKA.
While creating the rating, the federation’s statistical data since 1987 were taken into account. Akinfeev took 47th place. Another Russian Rinat Dasaev finished 37th.
