Russian tennis player Daria Kasatkina reached the semi-finals of the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) clay tournament held in Charleston, USA.
In the quarterfinals, the 25-year-old Russian defeated the American Madison Keys. The match lasted 2 hours 31 minutes and ended with a score of 6:7 (5:7), 6:4, 6:2.
Kasatkina will face Tunisian Ons Zhaber, the second racket of the tournament, who advanced to the semi-finals upon the rejection of Russian Anna Kalinskaya in the semi-finals.
The prize pool for the Charleston competition is $780,637. Swiss Belinda Bencic is the defending champion.
