Ukrainian boxer Oleksandr Usyk in an interview with a YouTube channel “Kyiv Pie” Briton Tyson told Fury why he gave the nickname Belly.
“I affectionately named her Puziko so that she would not be offended for a long time. I don’t think I’ve fought Anthony Joshua yet. He wrote that I was first on the WBO rankings and middleweight, bunny … So I replied: “Belly, don’t cry.” And then the nickname Greedy Belly appeared when he wanted to split the fee 70 by 30 in his favor,” Usyk said.
Usyk last fought in Saudi Arabia on August 20, defeating the British Anthony Joshua. The Ukrainian has retained his world champion titles according to the International Boxing Federation (IBF), World Boxing Organization (WBO), International Boxing Organization (IBO) and World Boxing Association (WBA).
Fury is the reigning World Boxing Council (WBC) world champion.
