About 900 fans of English Premier League (EPL) club Liverpool have filed a lawsuit against the Association of European Football Associations (UEFA) over events that occurred during the 2022 Champions League final in Paris. Reuters.

According to him, the Leigh Day law firm, which represents the interests of the fans, sued on behalf of 887 people.

Two other law firms, Pogust Goodhead and Binghams Solicitors, said they also represent Liverpool fans who wanted to sue UEFA last year.

The match between Real Madrid and Liverpool took place on 28 May 2022 in the suburbs of Paris. The French police could not cope with the crowds breaking in. About 15,000 fans tried to enter the stadium without a ticket. Police used tear gas against fans of the English team outside the stadium.

The match ended with the 1-0 victory of the Spanish team. Vinicius scored the only goal.
