The Leninsky District Court of Ufa fined Magnitogorsk Metallurg hockey player Semyon Koshelev for escaping military service and entering the Ufa State Petroleum Technical University (UGNTU) by bribery with a fine of 2.2 million rubles. It has been reported RIA Novosti Sports.
“The court decided to fine Koshelev 2.2 million rubles. The restraining order in the form of a written commitment to leave will be revoked after the decision comes into force, ”the judge of the Leninsky District Court of the city said.

The state prosecutor’s representative at the court said that before 2019, the defendant asked his friend, Farit Samigullin, to assist him in obtaining a military ID. He agreed to serve 40 thousand rubles.
According to Samigullin, this money was awarded to Konstantin Vyropaev, the head of the department for training and conscription of citizens for military service in the military commissariat of the Ordzhonikidze and Kalinin districts of Ufa.
Later, Koshelev returned to Samigullin again, as he needed a diploma of higher education. Samigullin offered the athlete to be admitted without an exam to the correspondence department of the Institute of Oil and Gas Business at the USPTU.
For this, he asked her for 270 thousand rubles. Koshelev paid this amount in two payments (150 thousand rubles and 120 thousand rubles).
As a result, the hockey player enrolled in the program “Financing oil and gas industry enterprises and organizations” in his first year. The court reported that Koshelev, who did not want to be deducted, continued to pay bribes, including Samigullin.
The total amount of bribes was about 720 thousand rubles. The actor transferred to the Nosov Magnitogorsk State Technical University in 2022.
In court, Koshelev said that he did not complete his higher education and was responsible for military service. The hockey player admitted his guilt. The next meeting is scheduled for April 4.
