The Norwegian signs one of the largest contracts in football history with the American multinational.

22.7 million per season for 10 years. That is the contract Norwegian Erling Haaland has signed with North American firm Nike, making the sponsorship deal one of the highest in football history.

Haaland, who has been with Nike since he was 14 years old, ended his last contract in January 2022 and since then there has been much speculation about a possible signing change. Puma and Adidas seduced the footballer, who eventually decided to expand his relationship with Nike.

The North American company once again welcomed the Manchester City striker with the following message: “His record scoring has left a mark on the future of the game and makes him the heir to number 9, the next generation striker.”

The mighty Norwegian striker is having a dream season in his first season in the Premier League, where he has already scored 42 goals in 37 games and looks set to break all records in the English championship.

With Haaland’s signature, Nike secures the two greatest exponents of today’s football, because Kylian Mbappé is also sponsored by the American multinational.
