Rotenberg responds to reports that hockey player Michkov’s father has disappeared

The head coach of St. Petersburg SKA Roman Rotenberg said that the club will provide help and support to 18-year-old hockey player Matvey Michkov, whose father went missing in Sochi.

Michkov’s father disappeared on April 2. At about 21:00 Moscow time, he left the hockey player’s family rented apartment, promising to return soon.

Michkov is on loan at SKA St. Petersburg to Sochi. He played 27 games for the Southerners, scoring nine goals and providing 11 assists. Sochi failed to qualify for the KHL playoffs and finished last in the Western Conference.
