Lokomotiv Moscow reportedly has no plans to renew the contract with striker Ivan Ignatiev. “Sport Express”.
The 24-year-old signed a one-season contract with the railroad workers in the summer of 2022, with the possibility of an extension for another two years.
In the 2022/23 season, the forward made 21 appearances in all competitions, scoring four goals and providing two assists.
Ignatiev moved from Rubin to the capital’s club, agreeing to terminate the employment contract with the Kazan club by mutual agreement of the parties.
The footballer has been playing for a team from the capital of Tatarstan since 2019. His contract with Rubin is calculated until the summer of 2024. He made 30 appearances for the club last season and scored four goals.
Prior to that, he played for Krasnodar and was the top scorer in the UEFA Youth League in the 2017/18 season.
