CSKA coach Vladimir Fedotov made statements about his team’s defeat to amateur team 2DROTS in Russia’s Football program broadcast on Russia 24 TV channel.
“This is a painful subject, of course, but defeat is defeat. Our task was to see the players, some of them had no playing practice, some of them had injuries. “This does not justify us, but I did not see any indifference in the players,” Fedotov said.
On March 25, 2DROTS defeated CSKA in a friendly match at VEB Arena with a score of 2:1. Legendary former CSKA player Daniel Carvalho entered this match as a player.
CSKA is in fifth place in the Russian championship with 38 points after 21 weeks played. Russian clubs are not playing internationally this season, as the International Football Federation (FIFA) and the Association of European Football Associations (UEFA) have suspended the Russian national team and clubs from participating in tournaments under their auspices.
Formerly 2DROTS coach Dmitry Kuznetsov shared his impressions after the victory of his team against CSKA Moscow.
