Honored Russian coach Vladimir Kamelzon was amazed by Daniil Medvedev’s victory at the Masters tournament in Miami (USA).

On April 2, Daniil Medvedev won the Masters tournament in Miami for the first time in his career. In the final, the Russian defeated the Italian representative Yannick Sinner in sets of 7:5, 6:3. Medvedev defeated Karen Khachanov, Christopher Eubanks, Kenten Alice, Alex Molchan and Roberto Carballes-Baena on the way to the trophy.

After this victory, the Russian moved up one spot in the Association of Professional Tennis Players (ATP). Now in fourth place.
