Maxim Mitrofanov, Secretary General of the Russian Football Union (RFU) telegraph channel journalist Sevastian Terletsky said the organization has agreements with the Russian national team to hold test matches with African teams.
“There are a lot of national teams in Asia. Most likely meeting with the team from there. We are meeting with African and Latin American teams. We have preliminary agreements with a number of big African teams to organize friendly matches this year,” Mitrofanov said.
Recall that in the spring of 2022 the International Football Federation (FIFA) and the Association of European Football Associations (UEFA) decided to exclude the Russian national team and all Russian clubs from participation in all competitions controlled by these organizations.
During the suspension, the Russian team played five friendly matches with Asian teams.
