Recall that today, on March 31, the LTA announced the admission of athletes from Russia and Belarus to participate in Wimbledon 2023.
“We agreed that all Russian and Belarusian tennis players and support staff who want to take part in our events in 2023 will need to sign declarations of neutrality.
This complies with UK government guidelines and is an approach that has been used in other sports. This new statement will apply to all LTA events from the start of the Surbiton grass court season.
