Gazizov on Zinchenko’s graffiti in Ufa: Painted by fans, let them decide what to do with it
General Director of Ufa Shamil Gazizov spoke about the graffiti on the wall of one of the houses in the capital of Bashkortostan, where the former player of the Ukrainian team Alexander Zinchenko was depicted. In addition to him in the picture are Gazizov himself, former head coaches of the team Sergey Semak and Viktor Goncharenko, and football players Alexander Belenov and Igor Diveev. According to Gazizov, the fans themselves should decide what to do with the image of Zinchenko, who recently talked about his career in Russia.
“The graffiti was done by the fans – the club has nothing to do with it. It was an expression of the will of the fans. Let them decide everything. I don’t want to touch on any aspect of Zinchenko’s statement: whatever the fans decide,” says Gazizova sports24.
Zinchenko said in an interview that he is grateful to Ufa for everything, but does not want to hear more about Russia or the time spent in Russia. He played in Ufa in 2015-2016, then transferred to English Manchester City.
