State Duma deputy Irina Rodnina, a three-time Olympic champion in pair skating, spoke emotionally about the possible return of beer to Russian football stadiums.
“I don’t drink beer. I’m more interested in the sports facilities without beer. But what can you do since people cannot perceive sports differently? You know, the dog is also given a lump of sugar as a reward,” Rodnina says. “Match TV”.
On March 30, Alexander Dyukov, President of the Russian Football Union (RFU) on the organization’s executive committee, said that the union would support the return of beer to stadiums if there was a proper objection.
Recall that the International Football Federation (FIFA) and the Association of European Football Associations (UEFA) decided to exclude the Russian national team and all Russian clubs from participation in all competitions controlled by these organizations.
Except for Zenit, Russian clubs did not play a single match in European cups in 2022. The Russian national team takes part only in friendly matches from 2022.
