Pittsburgh Penguins head coach Mike Sullivan spoke about Sidney Crosby and Alexander Ovechkin ahead of the Washington Capitals game.

“Both of them are in an elite company because of their attitude towards their job… They are different players in style. But two of the greatest players of all time in their own right.

I think it’s a privilege for all of us to see them play with that competitive spirit against each other. We see it as often as you do. Maybe we take it lightly, maybe we don’t. But I absolutely do not know, what will I tell you, ”Journalist Michel Creciolo quotes Sullivan on social networks.

Pittsburgh and the Capitals will face off on the morning of March 26.

Ovechkin, 37, has appeared in 67 games in the National Hockey League (NHL) this season, scoring 41 goals and providing 30 assists.

Crosby had 31 goals and 53 assists in 72 games of the season.

After 73 games, the Washington Capitals are in 10th place with 76 points, while Pittsburgh is in eighth place.

It was previously reported that Evgeny Kuznetsov asks Washington to leave the club for two years.
