The tournament will take place from March 22-26 in Saitama, Japan.
“People who question the validity of the doping scandal, in my opinion, are simply insane, given all the information we have,” the skater wrote.
Russian coaches Eteri Tutberidze, Daniil Gleikhengauz and Sergey Lipov participate in the competition together with their students, Italian Daniel Grassle, and Maurice Kvitelashvili and Nika Egadze, representing the Georgian national team.
Also, Evgeny Rukavitsyn, who trained under the leadership of Anastasia Gubanova, playing under the Georgian flag, came to the championship.
Yesterday on March 24, Japanese Kaori Sakamoto became the winner of the tournament with 224.61 points. Second place is taken by Korea’s Hae In Lee (220.94). At the end of the tournament, the third place and bronze medal went to Belgian Luna Hendrix (210.42).
Recall that at the end of February 2022, the International Olympic Committee (IOC) made an appeal to international sports federations and advised not to allow domestic and Belarusian athletes to participate in any competitions.
