Former goalkeeper Nigmatullin on Khaikin’s departure from Bristol: Sad but that’s life

Ruslan Nigmatullin, former goalkeeper of the Moscow “Locomotive”, commented care Goalkeeper Nikita Khaikin from the English “Bristol City”, reported “Championship.com”.

“It’s a sad situation with Khaikin. But that’s life. Not all passes are beneficial. He wanted to go to the Premier League but was happy with the Championship, he wanted to prove himself,” said Nigmatullin.

Haykin hasn’t played a single game in two months for the English team, which filled Bristol City’s roster in January 2023.

Haykin joined Boude-Glimt in March 2019. As part of the club, he became the Norwegian champion twice.

Prior to that, the 27-year-old football player managed to play in the Israeli championship. In October 2021, Khaykin was included in the extended list of the Russian national team for the first time in preparation for matches with Cyprus and Croatia. On his account there is not a single match in the national team.
