Spartak player Sobolev praises Dziuba’s return to RPL

Spartak and the Russian national team’s striker Alexander Sobolev answered the question whether he was surprised by the performance of Lokomotiv striker Artem Dziuba, who returned to the Russian Premier League (RPL).

“What’s surprising about that? I don’t know why this has become a question,” says Sobolev. “Match TV”.

During the winter transfer window, Dziuba moved to Lokomotiv. Since the beginning of November 2022, the striker has been without a team after his contract with Turkish club Adana Demirspor was terminated.

Last weekend, Dzyuba failed to score a penalty kick against Krasnodar. Lokomotiv still won with a score of 3:2. Dzyuba scored the winning goal in the 65th minute of the match.

It is worth noting that this goal was his fourth for himself after moving to Lokomotiv during the winter transfer window. He has three matches in total in the current RPL draw.
