Irina Raber, head of the ethics commission of the Russian Figure Skating Federation (FFKKR), said that the decision on the testimony of two-time Olympic champion Evgeni Plushenko will be made in April. Transmits words RIA Novosti Sports.
The FFKKR Ethics Committee considered Plushenko’s words and made recommendations to be adopted by the FFKKR Executive Committee.
“The commission does not decide. The Commission makes recommendations about individuals. The date is determined at the board meeting to be held in April, the commission will report its findings and then a decision will be made. Later, the executive board will inform the reporters on the website or in the comments.”
Recall that Plushenko was not satisfied with the assessment of his students at the Russian Championship among juniors. He said that his team might consider moving to other teams.
After that, Fedchenko called his words blackmail and hysteria. Plushenko Academy also applied to the FFKKR, complaining about his statements.
Alina Gorbacheva, who trained with Fedchenko, took the first place at the Russian Junior Championships. Second and third places went to Plushenko’s students Veronika Zhilina and Sofia Titova.
