CSKA Moscow won the first match of the series with Yaroslavl Lokomotiv in the semi-finals of the Continental Hockey League (KHL) Western Conference.
The match played in Moscow ended in favor of Ordu team 2-0.
In the third period of the match, both goals for CSKA were abandoned. First Yaroslav Dyblenko scored and then Pavel Karnaukhov doubled his advantage by scoring a goal against his opponents using the majority.
CSKA took the lead 1-0 in the series. The second match between the red-blues and the railway workers will be played on March 19 in Moscow.
In the second semifinal double of the Western Conference, in the first game of the series, SKA St. Recall that St. Petersburg won the Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod in overtime (2:1).
In the Eastern Conference, Ak Bars Kazan defeated Admiral Vladivostok (3:2) and Metallurg Magnitogorsk lost to Avangard Omsk (1:2 Overtime).
Previously recognizedHead coach of the Continental Hockey League club “Siberia” Andrey Martemyanov will leave his post. The Novosibirsk team will be headed by Sergey Krivokrasov, who currently serves as Martemyanov’s assistant.
