Spartak’s new coach, Alexei Zhamnov, said that he plans to combine his work at the club.
“At the moment the team does not have a very busy schedule, so I am now at Spartak. At the moment, one does not interfere with the other, I will combine studies in the national team and in the club. There is a lot of work to be done, but I am not leaving the team, ”says Zhamnov sports24.
Zhamnov has been a member of Spartak management since 2015, working as vice-president and general manager of the club, and then as an advisor to the head of the supervisory board and head of the Spartak Academy project.
In September 2021, he was appointed head coach of the Russian national team. Under his leadership, the national team won a silver medal at the Beijing 2022 Olympic Games.
