The Dutch midfielder of Moscow “Spartak” Quincy Promes repeated his record for the number of goals in a season.
Promes scored a goal with Yekaterinburg “Ural” (1: 1) in the first match of the RPL Russian Cup Road semi-finals. It was his 21st goal in all tournaments of the current season (five in the Russian Cup, 16 in the Russian Premier League).
He repeated his best result as a goal. He also scored 21 goals for Spartak in the 2017/18 season.
Promes scored his 100th and 101st goals for Spartak in the match played against Voronezh Fakel in the 19th week match of the Russian Premier League (RPL). Promes made 205 appearances for Spartak, scoring 102 goals and providing 50 assists in these matches. For the first time he scored a ball for the Moscow team in September 2014.
Promes has been playing for Spartak since February 2021. This is his second time to the team. He played for the Red and Whites from 2014 to 2018. In the 2016/17 season, the Dutch became the champion of Russia as part of the team.
