Canadian defender “Winnipeg Jets” Logan Stanley commented on the episode in which he injured Russian forward “savages” Kirill Kaprizov during the National Hockey League’s (NHL) regular season game against the Minnesota Wild.

At the equator of the third quarter, Stanley collapsed on Kaprizov and fell on the striker’s left leg, after which the Russian player almost sat on the slit. Kaprizov went to the locker room and did not appear on the ice until the end of the match.

It stopped, tried to complete my power grip, and then fell on it. I may have lost my balance a little. I did not expect Kaprizov to fall. Just a bad episode,” Stanley quotes Athletic.

The match, which took place at the Canada Life Center stadium, ended with Minnesota’s 4-2 victory.

Marcus Foligno, Frederic Gaudreau, Ryan Hartman and Mason Shaw were among the winners with their goals. Kaprizov had an assist.
