Lokomotiv Moscow defender Nair Tiknizyan has been called up to the Armenia national team for the 2024 European Championship qualifying match against the Turkish national team. The meeting will be held on March 25.
“I am grateful to the Armenian federation for the chance given. I will try to prove my worth on the field with the national team jersey. Separately, I note that this decision is entirely my own initiative and personal choice ”- commented challenge the player.
Tiknizyan became a Lokomotiv player by joining a team from CSKA, from which he graduated in the summer of 2021. He played for the Russian youth team and participated in the 2020 European Championship.
This season, the football player played 25 matches for the “rail”, in all competitions in which he scored one goal and four assists.
Former former football player of St. Petersburg “Zenith” Vladimir Bystrov commented Lokomotiv’s striker Artem Dziuba was not included in the extended list of the Russian national team for the March training camp.
