Great game in Villamarín in which again the lack of goals from Ancelotti’s team was noticed
Real Madrid added another setback against Real Betis at the Benito Villamarín after drawing 0-0 against Pellegrini’s side. Ancelotti shook his eleven, he tried Rodrygo behind Benzema but he is still very tame at the top and although he generated many more chances than against Barcelona he was neither successful nor effective.
From the start, Rodrygo’s variation gave Real Madrid a different look, but Betis kept the pulse and managed to reach the area of a superb Courtois. However, Benzema is still not the striker he was and the white team loses a lot with that.
The Madrid team was unsuccessful in the chances they had, the team went from more to less and Ancelotti had to make offensive changes to interrupt the game, provoke back and forth to force chances, but although they came, the gunpowder is still wet and the Madrid went back to zero. They are already nine points behind Barça and LaLiga is becoming almost impossible.

It is clear that we are missing a goal and balance, because now we are far behind”.
The changes: “Camavinga had a card and Luiz Henrique came on, who is good one-on-one. Ceballos came on, we opened Rodrygo more, although we were already finding him between the lines”.
