FIFA to buy France’s largest stadium “Stade de France”

The International Football Federation (FIFA) will participate in the tender for the purchase of the Stade de France stadium, located in the suburbs of Paris. It has been reported L’Equipe.

It was noted that the tender will be made after the 2024 Olympic Games to be held in the French capital. FIFA president Gianni Infantino discussed the potential purchase of the stadium with French President Emmanuel Macron. Former French Football Federation president Noel Le Gray will assist FIFA in the acquisition of the Stade de France.

Stade de France opened to host the 1998 World Cup. This arena will be used for the 2024 Olympics. The stadium, which can host more than 81,000 spectators in the football matches of the arena, whose cost is estimated at 600 million Euros, is currently managed by a private consortium.
