The new member of the National Hockey League (NHL) “Boston” club Dmitry Orlov repeated the club record of Zdeno Hara in the first three games in the team.
In the first three games for the new club, the Russian scored five points (2+3). Hara achieved such a success in the 2006/07 season.
On the night of February 28 – March 1, Orlov scored two goals and also assisted in a duel against the Calgary Flames.
Orlov has been with Capitals since 2011. He won the Stanley Cup as part of the team in 2018. The player and the club were reportedly unable to agree on the length of the new contract and was traded to Boston as a result.
Washington Capitals reportedly offered Orlov a new three-year contract, in exchange for a six-year contract.
Previous assistant support of Russian defender Dmitry Orlov helped Boston Bruins defeated Edmonton Oilers.
