The Youth Champions League 2022/2023 will once again bring together the best young talents from the European continent.

UEFA Youth League 2022/2023 once again becomes the premier club-level youth academy competition on the European continent. As is already known, the major teams in Europe get the ticket to play it by the ranking of their professional teams and others because they are the junior champions of each country.

Ranked teams, draws and format

The 32 teams compete in the UEFA Champions route Competition They will be the ones participating in the group stage of the absolute competition. They are joined by the 32 youth champions from the top-ranked national federations whose first team has not yet qualified for the Champions League group stage. These teams participate in the route of the national champions. If the first team of a national youth champion has qualified for the group stage of the Champions League, the vacated place will be taken by the national youth champion of the next participating association.

The groups of the Champions League will be identical to those of the absolute competition. The first placed of the groups will go directly to the eighth finals and the second will go to the play-offs.

Teams on the National Champions Path compete in two rounds of home and away playoffs. The eight winners of the second round will play the playoffs.

The knockout stage It consists of a series of one-game fixtures, starting with the play-offs, which see the eight national champions face one of the eight runners-up on the Champions League course at home.

The eight winners of the tie will join the round of 16 of the Champions League in the round of 16. The semi-finals and the final will, as always, be played in the Colovray Stadium, the headquarters of UEFA.
