Russian fighter Pavlovich to fight Blades at UFC Fight Night

The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) has announced a duel between heavyweights Sergei Pavlovich and Curtis Blades.

The fight will take place on April 23 in Las Vegas. This fight will be the main event of UFC Fight Night.

On December 4, Pavlovich won the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Fight Night (on ESPN 42). His opponent was Tai Tuivasa, representing Australia.

The fight, which should have lasted three rounds of five minutes each, ended in the first round. The fighters spent just 55 seconds in the octagon, after which the Russian fighter knocked his opponent down.

Pavlovich played 18 games in his career and won 17 of them. He spent his previous fight in July 2022: At UFC 277, the Russian also knocked out former American championship contender Derrick Lewis in the first round.
