Former Spartak Moscow midfielder Alexander Mostovoy commented on Alexander Golovin’s signing of a new contract with Monaco.
The 26-year-old midfielder, according to him, made the right decision by continuing to cooperate with his current club.
“My opinion has always been this: If everything suits you in your current team, then you don’t have to go anywhere. Not to mention where he lives.
Where the team and everything around it is, Monaco is a great place. Moreover, he is one of the leading players there, ”says Mostovoy Vprognoze.
Recall that the new contract between the Russian player and the clubs is designed for three years. Golovin’s previous contract with Monaco expired in the summer of 2024.
After 24 games in the French championship, the Russian player scored six goals and made six assists.
Andrey Sozin, former member of the RFU Ethics Committee announced Golovin’s new contract with Monaco is a commercial benefit for the club.
