Acting Minister of Sports of the Samara Region, Lidia Rogozhinskaya, said that the Lada hockey club (Tolyatti) has been allocated 750 million rubles from the regional budget to participate in the next season of the Continental Hockey League (KHL).

“Additional financial guarantees that fully cover the minimum budgetary requirements for Lada’s participation in the KHL championship will be provided from extra-budgetary sources,” said Rogozhinskaya. TASS.

Lada played in the KHL in the seasons 2008/2009, 2009/2010, as well as in the seasons 2014/2015 and 2017/2018. The club was expelled from the league due to poor performance determined by the league.
