Yuri Semin, former head coach of Moscow Lokomotiv, praised the play of railway workers’ striker Artem Dzyuba against Spartak in the quarter-final first leg of the Russian Premier League (RPL) Russian Cup.

Dzyuba played the first official match for Lokomotiv in the Russian Cup match against Spartak. He spent the entire 90 minutes on the field without scoring. On February 8, the forward signed a contract with Lokomotiv until the end of the season. Dzyuba started the 2022/23 season as part of Turkish club Adana Demirspor, but terminated his contract a few months later and was looking for a new team as a free agent.
