Russian Daniil Medvedev has moved up one place in the updated ranking of the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP). official site April

The tennis player, who won the tournament held in Qatar’s capital Doha last week, is in seventh place instead of eighth.

Andrey Rublev dropped from fifth to sixth in the list. Karen Khachanov remained in 14th place.

Serbian Novak Djokovic remains the leader of the rating. Spaniard Carlos Alcaras finished second and Stefanos Tsitsipas third.

On February 19, Medvedev won the tournament in Rotterdam, defeating Italian Yannick Sinner in the final. On February 20, Medvedev returned to the top 10 in the ATP rankings, rising from 11th to eighth.

On February 25, Medvedev became the winner of the ATP 250 tournament held in Doha. In the final, he defeated the world’s eighth racket, the Briton Andy Murray, who is ranked 70th in the ATP ranking, 6:4, 6:4.

Journalist Piers Morgan, previously on his social networks criticized players and Manchester United head coach Erik ten Hag for winning the dances after the end of the English League Cup final.
