Chelsea head coach Graham Potter opened up about how he emotionally endured the team’s downfall for a long time.

“That doesn’t mean it’s easy here. The family is suffering, it is difficult psychologically, it is not easy for me personally. Nobody cares, that’s the way it is.

Very difficult. I said a few weeks ago that being a Chelsea manager is the hardest job in football, and rightly so. Several experienced guys on the team told me they had the worst pre-season of their lives. As an organization, the summer tour did not go as we wanted,” says Potter. “BBC”.

Potter took over at Chelsea in September last year, replacing his German expert Thomas Tuchel. Having collected 31 points after 23 rounds, the “aristocrats” are in tenth place in the English Premier League (EPL). The team did not win four games in a row.

The team will also play the Champions League return match against Borussia Dortmund. The first Brits lost 0:1.

Abramovich bought Chelsea for £140m in 2003. Since then, the London club has won the Premier League five times, the Champions League and Europa League twice, the FA Cup five times and the English League Cup three times. In May last year, the new owner of the team was American Todd Bowley.

It was previously reported that Chelsea owner wants to buy another club to send loan players there.
